2008 New York Food Festival

The New York Food Festival was held over the weekend of Oct. 24 - 26.

Tens of thousands of New Yorkers made their way to the lovely town of Sayville to enjoy food competitions, lectures and demonstrations amidst the 44 BBQ competition teams that traveled from as far as Chicago and Florida to compete for the NY State Championships.

Held as part of the annual Sayville Fall Festival, this competition has quickly become one of the largest in the north east. Aside from the BBQ, there were also competitions for Grilling, Chili, Root Beer and Chocolate.
